Fear vs. Alignment
Has fear been directing your life lately? Or was it more alignment?
Sometimes I notice when there are longer heavier phases in life (I mean months, sometimes years), then it’s quite some work to not stay in the dull energy of nothing easily working out, one having to fix it, make it happen, work hard, be careful, make more choices out of fear instead of what truly would feel aligned.
Alignment can have many emotions connected to:
Feeling free
Feeling loved
Feeling trust
Feeling in the flow
Feeling grateful
Feeling relaxed
Feeling joyful
Feeling at peace
Feeling a sense of ease and lightness
Feeling motivation and passion
Feeling creative
Feeling pleasure
Feeling arousement
Feeling brave
That’s how alignment feels for me. Sometimes that’s a more strong sensation, that creates fire inside of me to create, other times it gives me a sense of peace, ease and lightness.

My heart feels free.
Fear isn’t evil, it’s there to protect us and it’s valid and has it’s space. We just have to be aware where fear is actually needed and where it is taking responsibility for every single thing vs. allowing other parts of ourselves to make choices too. We can learn out of experiences and then make better choices the next time. And yet, still we may get hurt, sad, angry, frustrated, betrayed, dissapointed and more.
We can’t avoid feeling heavy feelings but making choices constantly out of fear and looking behind our shoulder as if there is danger in every corner: We will feel all the heaviness and cut ourselves off from feeling joy, pleasure and peace.
Sometimes we can change it with awareness and shifting the focus to more positive outcomes out of experience. We have all made positive experiences as well in life - some tiny, some giant, some somewhere in between, so medicore we don’t see them as big nor small. BUT sometimes we also need help.
Maybe that’s psychotherapy, maybe that’s art therapy, maybe that’s a new hobby like pottery, starting a new sport you never felt you could try, learning to play the Native American flute, trying TCM, singing, or any other form of activity and therapy that helps us get out of our usual habitat and gives us a new fresh perspective. This includes heavily people we surround ourselves with and the food we nourish ourselves with.
May this inspire you to get honest with yourself and what is motivating your choices in life.
